Sian Lloyd in Patagonia

We recently had the pleasure of introducing Sian Lloyd and her husband Jonathan to the joys of Welsh Patagonia (and a touch of luxury in southern Chile's Torres del Paine).

Their trip started in Trelew (near the Valdes peninsula) before re-tracing the steps of the original Welsh settlers west towards Trevelin, in a pretty Andean valley at the southern end of the Argentine lake district. Their guide was Jeremy Wood, now an Esquel resident and full of local lore and knowledge.

Afterwards they continued to Calafate, and also stayed at the stunning Explora hotel in Chile's Torres del Paine.
