Summer Newsletter June 2019

As I run out of the door on my way to see a total solar eclipse in Chile (weather permitting!) there is just time for a quick summer roundup of Latin America staff travels. In this issue:

  • Staff reports: Lizzy in Costa Rica and Hannah in Tierra del Fuego
  • Last Frontiers' ideas for next summer: A selection of trip ideas that fit perfectly with school summer holidays
  • Your feedback: Galapagos Islands

Lizzy heads off the beaten track in Costa Rica

Lizzy returned to Costa Rica and explored some of the lesser-known areas of the country. She has written an article with some of her initial highlights, which were not just the abundance of wildlife.

Hannah in Tierra del Fuego

Hannah had wonderful weather as she sailed along the fjords north of the 'Land of Fire' on an expedition cruises with Cruceros Australis. Her article gives us four good reasons why we should visit this beautiful area:

Your feedback

Mary-Anne, GalapagosMary-Anne, Galapagos

A little feedback from a recent client trip - for which we are always so grateful.

Galapagos: "I have travelled fairly extensively in the last few years but I can say that the Galapagos is the most unique place I have ever visited and it was my most memorable holiday ever. To find the wildlife so very close and so utterly unafraid of humans was breath-taking and I am still having to pinch myself to make me realise it was not a dream. I have nothing but praise for the excellent service provided by Last Frontiers, from the initial advice and help you gave me in the planning stage to the actual delivery of the cruise. Thanks again for all your help - it was the experience of a lifetime!"

PC - June 2019

Keep an eye out on our website for an article from Nikki, who is still sorting out her 2,000 photos from Brazil. She was getting to know some of our favourite small hotels and lodges in the Pantanal, southern Amazon and Paraty.

With best wishes from all at Last Frontiers, and as ever, just let us know if we can help with your travel plans.
