The football World Cup is upon us again, and following on from our Olympic medals points table we thought it would be fun to track the progress of Latin American countries.
We are using the traditional 3 points for a win and 1 for a draw, and competition is fierce with several Latin American nations taking part. Mexico are co-hosts and good luck to Curaçao in their first ever World Cup. We’ve also included England and Scotland for some extra rivalry.

Congratulations to all the teams qualified for the knock-out stages (shown in green above) and bad luck to Scotland, Uruguay, Curaçao and Panama. Those countries in red made it through the group stage but have now been eliminated. Congratulations to Argentina on reaching the final and good luck against Spain!
