A very comfortable, spacious trimaran, with a triple hull for stability, tasteful décor and panoramic windows in the communal areas. The dining room and lounge are air-conditioned and there is good outdoor deck space with an al fresco dining area, a sun deck, outdoor bar and solarium with a hot tub.

Activities

Experienced naturalist guides lead daily island, panga and snorkelling excursions and presentations are given on board. Horizon carries kayaks and paddle boards that can be used at certain sites permitted by the National Park, and the use of snorkelling gear and wetsuits is included.

Accommodation

8 spacious double cabins on 2 decks, all with a private balcony, picture windows, an ensuite bathroom and air-conditioning. Upper deck cabins measure 29 square meters and main deck cabins measure 32 square meters.

Horizon operates a 14 night programme which is a combination of two 7 night cruises (Itinerary A) and (Itinerary B). There is also the option of a 3 night cruise (Saturday to Tuesday) and 4 night cruise (Tuesday to Saturday) on Itinerary A.

Day 6: Genovesa (Darwin Bay and El Barranco)
Day 7: Mosquera Islet; Santa Cruz (Highlands and Tortoise breeding centre)
Day 8: North Seymour; Baltra

Day 1: (Saturday): Baltra, Santiago (Sullivan Bay)
Day 2: Isabela (Vicente Roca Point) and Fernandina (Espinosa Point)
Day 3: Isabela (Tagus Point and Urbina Bay)
Day 4: Española Isabela (Elizabeth Point and Moreno Bay)
Day 5: Santa Cruz (Tortoise breeding centre and Highlands)
Day 6: Floreana (Post Office Bay, Devil’s Crown and Cormorant Point)
Day 7: Santa Fe Island and San Cristóbal (Lobos Island)
Day 8: San Cristóbal tortoise breeding centre

 

Upper deck cabin

The 4 cabins on the Upper deck all have double beds, no twin, have a private balcony, air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom, and measure 29 square meters.

Main deck cabin

The 4 cabins on the Main deck can be double or twin, have a private balcony, air-conditioning and ensuite bathroom, and measure 32 square meters.
