Description

A spacious property, set in an historic plantation house with pretty gardens. There is a lovely chapel with 18th century murals, a large pool with loungers and plenty of patio space. The atmosphere at the hacienda is relaxed.

Activities

It is a good base for visiting Merida, the nearby colonial town of Izamal and the Maya site of Uxmal. The hotel can arrange biking, diving in cenotes, cookery classes, spa treatments or walking.

Accommodation

There are 15 well designed rooms, most in the original hacienda buildings, with spacious bathrooms. Junior Suites and Mayan Villas have outside plunge pools. There is a Master suite with a private pool.
