City hotel - MéridaA beautiful boutique option in the centre of Mérida (close to the Paseo de Montejo). The décor is luxurious and yet discreet. There is a small swimming pool and restaurant. Great attention to detail has gone into the property and staff are particularly accommodating. -
Casa Lecanda
City hotel - MéridaA restored traditional Yucatecan home which mixes original Meridian style with touches of European luxury. Two blocks from the Paseo de Montejo, Casa Lecanda provides a good location for exploring the city (only fifteen minutes from the airport). There is a small private swimming pool at the back and good service. -
Hacienda San José
Hacienda - 40 minutes from MéridaA spacious property, set in an historic plantation house with pretty gardens. There is a lovely chapel with 18th century murals, a large pool with loungers and plenty of patio space. The atmosphere at the hacienda is relaxed. -
Hacienda Santa Rosa
Hacienda - 1 hour from UxmalA beautiful hacienda, dating from 1850 that has been lovingly restored maintaining many original features. The entrance is lined with palm trees and leads to the main house which has a welcoming terrace overlooking the gardens. There are 2 pools, a water tower and good restaurant. -
Hacienda Xcanatún
Hacienda - 20 minutes from MéridaAn 18th century sisal-producing hacienda which opened in January 2000 after 5 years of work recovering and renovating the original buildings which had been abandoned in the 1980s. Many original features have been maintained and it is a mix of historic, traditional and contemporary elements. Suites are set around tropical gardens and there are two pools and a spa, a TV room and excellent restaurant.
