Description

A charming rural hotel set in 500 acres at the end of a beautiful lake, with 2 miles of lake shore. It is surrounded by pristine forests, mountains, streams and waterfalls. A homely atmosphere with good food.

Activities

Possible activities include riding (they have their own stable), mountain biking, skiing, kayaks, a tyrolean crossing (in summer), zodiac rides and short walks.

Accommodation

There are 12 comfortable rooms in various buildings and cabins, most with beautiful lake views. The River cabin is particularly suited to those on honeymoon, while the remote Mountain cabin (a kilometer from the main house) might appeal to those seeking total isolation.

Peuma Hue - I don't know where to begin. The people were so welcoming, made us feel very special. The food was excellent, accommodation very comfortable. We went horse riding for the first time (twice) through the forests, across mountain streams, hiked up the mountains. We also hired a car for a couple of days so we saw more of the surrounding areas. Met very interesting people there too. We loved the place - it's the sort of place you could stay for ever, just looking at the lakes and mountains. - GG (November 2007)
