A small, chic hotel in a brilliant spot in the heart of Palermo surrounded by restaurants, bars and shops. There is a cafe and breakfast area on the ground floor and lovely rooftop terrace. The staff are very helpful too.

A small boutique hotel right in the middle of things. Lovely rooftop relaxation area and plunge pool, very welcome when the ambient temperature at ground level was mid-30s. Great place to recover from a journey and central for good restaurants and bars. - PW (March 2023)

We loved the Nuss Hotel in Palermo Soho and the staff were delightfully friendly, warm and helpful. The rooms were spacious and modern and there is a lovely roof terrace where, on a Saturday evening, they offer all guests complimentary wine and cocktails from 6-8pm. - JD (January 2012)

Nuss was a comfortable small hotel in a trendy part of town. The staff were uniformly excellent - the waiter even asked if I wanted a different variety of omelette on the 2nd morning (and he got my first day's choice correct!). Yes, the rooftop pool is only a small plunge pool and there are only a few chairs and loungers alongside it but it was beautifully done and not busy whilst we were there. Although the surrounding nightlife carries on until dawn we were not disturbed (and we were on the first floor). The beds were very comfortable and the rooms, without being overly fussy, were not spartan either. A great place to stay and Palermo is a very attractive as an alternative to the more central Recoleta. - JM (December 2010)
