Description

A small, family run hotel just outside Salta in the countryside. The colonial house has been beautifully refurbished by the owners, an Italian couple Valentina and Fabrizio Ghilardi, maintaining many original features and using traditional furnishings from Argentina. There is an outdoor pool, terrace and garden, a lovely sitting room with an open fireplace and breakfast/dining area.

Activities

Guided excursions throughout the region can be organised including hikes and riding. Valentina also offers cooking classes.

Accommodation

There are only 9 rooms, including an upstairs suite with a private terrace and two junior suites on the ground floor, all with a private bathroom, tasteful décor and bed linen from Europe.

The excellent staff gave us a very warm welcome and wine every evening. The hotel has lovely grounds, a pool and is very quiet. Our room was very comfortable with air-conditioning and a very good shower. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. There was intermittent Wi-Fi in the lounge. The only small downside was that the local walks were limited and it's a bit far our of the centre of Salta. - HH (February 2018)
