Description

Yachana is far more of a community project than a jungle lodge, although their 1,600 hectares does consist of 80% primary rainforest. Their land has been declared a protected forest, and adjoins the Sumaco volcano Biosphere Reserve.

Activities

There are various interesting community projects which can be visited all promoting health, education and local traditions in the area. You can also go for jungle and night walks, river tubing or walk to nearby waterfalls.

Accommodation

The 20 rooms and 3 cabañas are comfortable, if rustic and simple. The electricity is solar.
