Description

A well-appointed eco-lodge nestled in six hectares of lush cloud forest with views of the impressive Gocta Falls. Gocta Natura Reserve is dedicated to environmental protection and restoration, with a strong focus on reforestation efforts that help preserve the habitat of endangered species. The lodge’s facilities are designed for both relaxation and enrichment. La Casa features a cosy social space with a bar, fireplace, and library, while the main deck offers views of the Gocta waterfall. Guests can enjoy wood-fired, mainly vegetarian meals in the Tutamono dining room, relax by the small pool, or explore the lush gardens where fresh fruits and vegetables are grown using sustainable methods. There is also a small spa.

Activities

Guests are invited to explore the grounds which feature a small pool, visit the Botanic Garden, or walk trails to the Gocta River, immersing themselves in the region’s rich biodiversity. 

Accommodation

The six thoughtfully designed cabins are built with natural materials and painted in subtle colours, giving them a cosy feel within the cloud forest. All have a private terrace with views to the mountains and falls and offer guests a tranquil retreat surrounded by native trees. Monkeys may be spotted from the terrace, as well as numerous endemic bird species.
