I liked the lodge very much, but it’s 20-30 minutes’ walk outside town. I was on a walking holiday so it didn’t worry me but important to warn other clients if they don’t have a hire car. Others I met, who spent longer there than I did, went on excursions organised by the hotel (I think transport was included). - DP (December 2024)
