Description

An astro-hotel offering exclusive dome-shaped rooms with a detachable ceiling to observe the stars above the Elqui valley. There is a very comfortable communal area with hammocks and a swimming pool.

Activities

The region is famous for some of the clearest skies in the world and the production of pisco (which may account for the record number of UFO sightings). Tours to the nearby observatories, riding and bike rental.

Accommodation

The original Dome rooms have two floors with a double bed and two single beds. The lower level consists of a bathroom and sitting area with a good-sized deck outside. The upper level is the bedroom with a removable ceiling for viewing the night sky. The Observatory rooms are wooden cabins with three floors. The top floor has a double bed and glass window in the ceiling, the bathroom is on the ground floor, where there is also a sofa bed, and they have a terrace. The cabins sleep a maximum of three people.
