This remote lodge is in the beautiful Valle de las Escalas on the Futaleufú river in Chile, a 2 hour drive from Esquel (in Argentina, the nearest airport) and on the edge of a national park.

Activities

Fishing - primarily for brown and rainbow trout, with dry and wet flies in the Futaleufú river itself - all catch and release. Good walking and riding.

Accommodation

3 double cabins (with 2 double beds each), one by the main house and two more nearer the river, plus two rooms in the main lodge. All a woodburning stove and private bathrooms.

Our comments

The lodge is surrounded by beautiful scenery and is a lovely place to relax. The food is excellent and there is no shortage of excellent Chilean wine! Good for couples and non-fishing partners.
