Burundanga Pousada, Southern Bahia

Itacaré, a short flight south of Salvador (Southern Bahia, Brazil)

Description

A charming, small pousada 200m from Praia do Concha and a short walk from the centre of Itacaré. The pousada has a warm, friendly atmosphere with tasteful décor and nice touches. There is a breakfast area, small pool and tropical gardens.

Activities

Excursions in the area include rafting, hiking in the Atlantic Rainforest, beach, surfing, kayaks, canoeing, visits to coffee plantations and trips to the Marau peninsula.

Accommodation

Narrow paths lead through the gardens to the rooms which are all slightly different and named after a flower from the region. They are spacious, have a balcony or terrace with hammock, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, fridge, tea/coffee making facility, sofa/couch, safe and phone. Rooms have either a kingsize double bed or twin beds and small private bathroom.

No restaurant for lunch or dinner but complimentary afternoon tea. No children under 14.
