Description

A small, friendly, privately owned pousada with 13 bungalows on a narrow stretch of land between Lagoa do Cassange and Praia Cassange, overlooking the beach. TV/reading room, thatched restaurant overlooking the beach, excellent food, quiet and personal. Transfers can be from either Ilheus (about 4 hours by road and boat) or Salvador (about 6-7 hours by road and boat).

Activities

The pousada also own/operate a tour agency and organise many boat and 4x4 excursions around the peninsula. They also offer walks, surfing, beach volley ball, beach soccer, kayaks or canoes, snorkelling in the natural pools, fishing and bird watching or just time to relax in a hammock!

Accommodation

The bungalows are set throughout the gardens and shaded by palm trees. They are simple but clean and comfortable with a double bed and also a single bed/sofa, ceiling fan, cooling system (but no air-conditioning), fridge, bathroom with solar hot water and terrace with hammock. No TV.
