Itacaré, a short flight south of Salvador (Southern Bahia, Brazil)

Description

A comfortable hotel 5km from Itacare, in the Itacaré/Serra Grande environmental protection area on an old cocoa farm, 300m from Praia do San Jose. There is a pool, bar and restaurant and the hotel run a complimentary shuttle bus service to Itacaré village.

Activities

It is within the Atlantic rainforest with many walking trails. There is an in-house tour agency and excursions in the area include rafting, beach, surfing, kayaks, canoeing, visits to coffee plantations and trips to the Marau peninsula.

Accommodation

25 rooms, on two floors with a terrace or balcony and overlooking the garden and pool or the river and rainforest. Rooms are comfortable and spacious with private facilities, fridge, safe, TV and air-conditioning.
